Dinner Meeting - June 16, 2015 - 84th AGM
Pipeline Permission – How Trans Mountain is Working Toward “Yes” One Handshake at a Time
Special Guest Speaker:
Ian D. Anderson
President
Kinder Morgan Canada
The Trans Mountain Pipeline has been a part of the Langley community for 60 years. Kinder Morgan has been working on a proposal to expand the pipeline for several years. Industry needs access to global markets, and the economic benefits the Trans Mountain Expansion Project will unlock for Langley, BC, and Canada are significant. But how can we ensure these opportunities are realized, and the benefits for all Canadians are clear? Ian Anderson, President of Kinder Morgan Canada, will share his insights into the challenges and opportunities of building critical infrastructure for all Canadians, present his company's grassroots approach to "getting to yes," and talk about the role of Greater Langley businesses in pipeline permission.
