Encompass Support Services Society Launches “Tiny Hands, Big Dreams” Campaign

Chamber member Encompass Support Services Society has launched Tiny Hands, Big Dreams, a fundraising campaign running from November 19 to December 31, 2025, with a goal of raising $30,000 to support young children and their families in Langley and Aldergrove. Funds raised will help meet growing demand for early-years programs and services that support healthy development, connection, and family well-being.

For more than two decades, Encompass has provided essential child and family programs—including Best Babies of the Langleys, Pregnant and Parenting Youth, Family Place Resource Centre, Bright Beginnings Child Care Centre, and Early Years Family Navigation. Approximately 2,500 participants access these services each year for resources ranging from prenatal vitamins and diapers to childminding, parenting support, and social connection opportunities.

Encompass notes that demand for support has increased as families navigate rising living costs, shifting economic pressures, and the challenges of parenting or settling in a new community. The campaign aligns with the generosity of the holiday season and Giving Tuesday, inviting individuals and businesses to help strengthen programs that foster healthy beginnings, family resilience, and community belonging.

Donations can be made through CanadaHelps via the Encompass Support Services Society website. Community members are also encouraged to follow Encompass on social media to learn more about the impact of their Child and Family Services programs.
