Not Normal Photography has launched a new range of dedicated photography services for actors, models and other creative talent at its professional, purpose-built studio in Langley.

The services have been developed over several months, with input from people working in different areas of the talent industry. The goal was to create practical, clearly structured photography options that reflect what creative professionals actually need as they pursue opportunities and develop their careers. Created for emerging and working talent throughout Langley, Surrey, Abbotsford, Maple Ridge and the Fraser Valley, the new services recognize that different areas of the talent industry require different kinds of photographs.

Actors need authentic, casting-ready photographs that show their appearance, personality and range. Services include commercial and theatrical headshots, three-quarter images and full-length photographs, with professional direction focused on natural expression and casting requirements.

Models require clean, accurate images that allow agencies and clients to clearly assess their potential. Available services include agency-style digitals, headshots, three-quarter and full-length images, as well as more developed portfolio photography.

The Talent umbrella extends well beyond actors and models. Sessions can also be created for musicians, dancers, choreographers, voice actors, comedians, public speakers, authors, podcasters, performance artists, stunt performers and other creative professionals who need promotional, casting or portfolio imagery. Sessions can be adapted around the person, their work and the way the final photographs will be used.

The dedicated actor and model services are available in three levels:

• Essentials — clean, straightforward images covering the fundamental requirements
• Core — greater variety, additional looks and a more developed image collection
• Showcase — a broader, more expressive portfolio designed to demonstrate versatility

Every session is led by Not Normal Photography’s founder and lead photographer, Hayley Holland. Hayley provides clear posing and expression guidance throughout the session, helping clients feel comfortable while ensuring every photograph serves its intended purpose.

“They might all look like photographs of a person, but they each need something different,” says Hayley. “I want people to leave with images that actually work for what they are trying to do—not just photographs that look nice.”
