RevoCast is marking a major milestone with the launch of its new 120,000-square-foot aluminum remelting facility in Langley.

The state-of-the-art facility represents the latest investment from Thomas Martini, President and CEO, whose group of companies has grown from the original construction of Vitrum Glass Group’s first facility 30 years ago, to the addition of Apex Aluminum Extrusions, and now the launch of RevoCast.

RevoCast is designed to transform recycled aluminum into high-quality billets for the next generation of manufacturing. The facility brings advanced aluminum manufacturing capabilities to Langley, while supporting skilled employment opportunities and strengthening the local economy.

“Launching this facility is a defining milestone for my group of companies,” said Martini. “We are proud to bring world-class technology and a strong commitment to sustainability to create an aluminum remelting operation built for the future.”

Sustainability and energy efficiency are central to the facility’s design. RevoCast’s furnaces use high-efficiency burner systems and electromagnetic stirring to optimize the melting process and reduce energy consumption. Energy is also captured through drying chambers, further improving overall efficiency.

RevoCast is positioned to serve the West Coast and Pacific Northwest aluminum extrusion markets with aluminum billets in the 6xxx alloy series, which are known for their versatility in extrusion applications. The billets are available in Ø178mm and Ø203mm diameters, with a maximum sellable length of 7.3 metres.
