Salmon Sessions 2026 Announces Official Music Festival Lineup
Chamber member Penmar Community Arts Society is back with Salmon Sessions 2026. The music festival is bringing a strong lineup of local and regional talent, bringing blues-rock favourites, emerging artists, and community energy to the Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club in Surrey.
Taking place Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the fourth annual Salmon Sessions will showcase performers from Surrey, White Rock, Vancouver, and across BC. The festival is designed as a feel-good day of live music, connection, and celebration of the talent rooted in the region.
Leading the 2026 lineup is the Wailin’ Walker Band, fronted by Al “Wailin’” Walker. A long-time blues performer with a career spanning more than five decades, Walker is known for his signature guitar style, deep rhythm and blues roots, and passion for the genre.
The official lineup also includes the James Shepherd Band, a White Rock-based act blending rock and blues; Three Nines Fine, a Vancouver five-piece rock band coming off a recent Battle of the Bands win; Generous Thieves, a reggae fusion group and fan favourite in Japan; Westwood Theory, a young BC band gaining attention for their original sound; and Rowan, formerly Sophia Bouvier, a White Rock multi-instrumentalist known for original music that blends vintage and contemporary influences.
Tickets are available here with proceeds supporting the Little Campbell Hatchery.
Free entry for ages 12 and under.
