Support the Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program and Make a Local Impact
The Storehouse Community Hub Society invites local businesses, schools, and organizations to partner in this year’s Cloverdale Christmas Hamper Program (CCHP).
A beloved community initiative that supports over 1,000 Surrey, Langley and White Rock households each holiday season with food, gifts, and care. Since 1991, the CCHP proudly extends its support beyond families with children to include marginalized individuals and vulnerable, isolated seniors, helping ensure every member offer community feels cared for during the holidays.
Last year, we provided hampers to more than 2,633 local residents, including over 1,144 youth and children and 393 seniors. Here are several ways your business can involve:
- Host a Food Drive – Request a donation box from CCHP and collect non-perishable items for Christmas Hampers at your workplace.
- Host a Stocking Stuffer Drive - Request a donation box from CCHP and collect puzzles & small comfort items for teens and seniors.
- Donate Gift Cards – $50 gift cards for seniors most helpful for dignity and choice, allowing them to select a meaningful Christmas gift for themselves.
- Make a Financial Donation – Help fill the gaps for items we don’t receive. Your contribution enables us to purchase essential food staples and grocery gift cards, which are given to recipients so they can select culturally preferred and allergy-safe ingredients for a meaningful and dignified Christmas dinner.
- Engage your team in community giving
- Build goodwill with local residents and customers
- Directly support families facing food insecurity this holiday season
