Applications Open for Township of Langley Community Grants and Festival Funding
The Township of Langley is currently accepting applications, until February 28, for several community grant programs that provide funding support to non-profit organizations, community associations, and sport organizations serving Township residents.
The Community Grant program is available annually to registered non-profit groups and organizations operating within the Township of Langley. Funding is intended to support special events or projects that demonstrate a clear benefit to the Township or a majority of its residents. Eligible initiatives should involve local residents, take place within the municipality, promote Langley’s identity, and contribute to quality of life in the community. The maximum grant available under this category is $2,750.
In addition to community project funding, the Township also offers support for Major and Minor Festivals, recognizing the role that festivals play in building community connection, attracting visitors, and animating public spaces across Langley.
Sport organizations may also be eligible for funding through the Sport Hosting Incentive Program, which is designed to encourage Langley-based sport organizations to host provincial, western Canadian, national, and international amateur championship events within the Township. This program provides limited financial assistance to help offset the costs associated with hosting larger-scale sporting events that bring participants and visitors into the community.
Full program details, eligibility requirements, and application information are available through the Township of Langley’s Grants and Incentives webpage >
