Chamber Hosts Langley City Mayor Nathan Pachal for "State of the City" Update

The Langley Chamber hosted Langley City Mayor Nathan Pachal for a “State of the City” event where the Mayor provided an updated on key initiatives at the City relevant to the business community, and sat down for a one-on-one interview to discuss various issues in the community. Over 100 local business and community leaders joined the Langley Chamber for the dinner event, where Mayor Pachal provided an update on the City’s recent efforts around community involvement and engagement, as well as data-driven decision-making.
During a speech and presentation, Mayor Pachal highlighted the ongoing work of the Citizen’s Assembly – which has brought together two dozen community members to develop new ideas for tackling community issues – as well as the City’s new focus on data, including a new economic development portal and a new Key Performance Indicator Dashboard to report on progress toward community goals. Following his presentation, Mayor Pachal sat down for a one-on-one interview with Langley Chamber CEO Cory Redekop which covered everything from housing and development, community safety and crime, taxes, transportation and more.
