100 local businesses and community leaders attended an update on the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain project, its routing, timeline, station design and expected redevelopment in the surrounding areas. 

Attendees heard from Jennifer Maclean, Executive Project Director for the SkyTrain expansion, on the timeline for construction, the status of procurement and contracting, and the design standards and ideas for the 8 new stations.   Following this, presentations were provided from both the Township and the City governments on the planning underway and the rezoning and redevelopment expected in the years to come around the stations.
