Employer Applications Open for Canada Summer Jobs Program Until January 12

Employer applications have been opened for the 2023 Canada Summer Jobs Program, which provides non-profit and small businesses with funding to hire young Canadians over the spring and summer next year.

The program provides a wage subsidy to non-profit organizations and to businesses with 50 or fewer full-time employees, to help them hire youth between the ages of 15 and 30.  The wage subsidy will cover 50% of the minimum wage for businesses, while non-profits can receive up to 100% of the minimum wage subsidized.

This program can provide much needed labour support for small businesses and non-profits, to support their operations, growth, and initiatives over the spring and summer months.

For details of the program, read below and then visit the Canada Summer Jobs website for further information and to apply.
