Federal Government Suspends Vaccination Requirement for Air, Rail Travel

As of June 20, the federal government will suspend vaccination requirements for domestic and outbound travel, and proof of vaccination will no longer be required to board a plane or train in Canada.
Other public health measures, such as wearing a mask, continue to apply and will be enforced.

For Canadian citizens and permanent residents returning from international destinations, they will still need to prove full vaccination, or will be required to provide a  negative pre-entry test result, and will remain subject to Day 1 and Day 8 testing requirements and a 14 days quarantine.

In addition, the government has announced that it will continue to require the use of the ArriveCAN app for all people entering Canada to provide mandatory information.

The Langley Chamber welcomes this announcement, as suspending the vaccine requirement will allow those who are not fully vaccinated to travel more freely within Canada, creating more opportunity for business, tourism, and economic activity.
