​Funding: BC Agriculture & Food Export Support Program Applications Close September 5

The BC Agriculture and Food Export Program is currently accepting applications until September 5 for funding to help food and beverage producers and associations expand into international markets.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants include primary agriculture producers, and food and beverage processors or cooperatives. Applicants must be marketing or selling products that are grown or processed within the province, and have total annual gross revenues greater than $100,000 for the two most recent consecutive years.
What the Program Offers
Funding is cost-shared. For producers, processors, and co-ops, grants range from $5,000 up to $50,000 per year, covering up to 50% of project costs.
Eligible Project Activities
Successful applicants must propose initiatives in one or more of the following areas:
- Export Market Tradeshows & Sales Exhibitions: Booth costs, shipping product samples, translators, and other trade-related expenses.
- Consumer-Focused Promotions in Export Markets: Pop-up booths, brand ambassadors, sample shipping to retail or food service venues.
- Export-Focused Marketing Materials & Campaigns: Videos, brochures, banners, recipe cards, paid advertising, social media management, and translation services.
- Deadline to apply: September 5, 2025 (4:00 PM PDT)
- Project approval and start: November 17, 2025
- Project completion: March 1, 2026
