Funding: City of Langley Community Grants Application Now Open
The City of Langley is now accepting applications for its Community Grants Program, offering funding and in-kind support for local non-profit and neighbourhood-led initiatives that benefit City residents.
Community Grants help support community-building events, projects, and improvements that strengthen inclusion, connection, and quality of life in Langley City. Applications are open now until March 2 on the City of Langley’s website >
Funding Available
Three types of applicants may apply:
1. Registered Charities & BC Societies
Eligible for up to $10,000 to support:
- Events and community programs
- Projects and initiatives
- Capital expenditures
2. Neighbourhood Groups
Eligible for up to $500 to support free, inclusive neighbourhood events.
3. In-Kind Support Requests
Organizations may request City services such as facility use and other in-kind support.
Key Eligibility Notes
Applicants must be community-based and serve Langley City residents, provide inclusive public benefit, and submit a post-project evaluation.
Neighbourhood group applications must be resident-led (not business-led) and require receipts and attendance reporting for reimbursement.
Ineligible Expenses
Grants will not support:
- Ongoing operating costs (staffing, rent, etc.)
- Past debts or retroactive expenses
- Office furniture or office equipment (including computers)
