The Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce joined chambers of commerce and boards of trade from across the country in Mississauga last week for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting and Conference, where business and government leaders came together to discuss national economic priorities and the challenges facing Canadian businesses.

Over several days of policy sessions and presentations, delegates debated and adopted more than 40 new policy resolutions that will guide the Canadian Chamber’s federal advocacy over the coming year. The Langley Chamber was proud to help advance policies calling for greater support for natural resource development and major infrastructure investment, improvements to business tax law to encourage growth and competitiveness, and better language and settlement supports for newcomers — a policy resolution submitted by the Langley Chamber and adopted by the national network.

These priorities reflect the Langley Chamber’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that federal policy decisions support business competitiveness, workforce development, and inclusive economic growth.

The Conference also saw the presentation of the 2025 Inclusive Growth Awards, which named the Langley Chamber as one of this year's recipients.

“The national Chamber network gives us a strong voice in Ottawa,” said Cory Redekop , CEO of the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce. “By working together with our peers across the country, we’re helping to shape policy that strengthens Langley businesses and the Canadian economy.”
