We look forward to continuing our work with City Council on the issues that matter to businesses, including responsible taxation, public safety, transportation and infrastructure, thoughtful growth and development, and maintaining a strong environment for investment and entrepreneurship.

The Chamber also thanks outgoing Mayor Nathan Pachal and Councillors Rosemary Wallace, Mike Solyom, Paul Albrecht, Teri James and Leith White for their contributions to Langley City and for their engagement with the Chamber over the past term.

Looking Ahead

Throughout the election, the Chamber worked to ensure local business issues were part of the conversation through our Candidate Priority Briefings and All Candidates Forums, giving voters an opportunity to hear directly from those seeking office.

With the election now complete, our focus turns to working constructively with both new Councils.

Langley continues to experience significant growth, bringing both opportunities and challenges for our business community. The Chamber will continue to advocate for policies and investments that make it easier to start, operate and grow a business here, while working with our elected leaders to strengthen Langley’s economy and community.

We congratulate everyone elected, thank all those who put their names forward to serve, and look forward to working with the new Councils over the next four years.
