Langley Chamber Flags Rising Cost, Burden of Doing Business at annual Provincial Government Chamber Consultations
Over the course of four sessions -- lasting a total of 10 hours -- the Langley Chamber joined the chamber network in advocating for the interests of our business community with various provincial government ministries and departments.
These sessions -- part of an annual chamber-government engagement -- provided opportunity to discuss and advocate for a number of key business issues, including greater investment in critical business infrastructure like highways and ports, reducing the cost and containing the burden of the new paid sick leave requirements, reducing the administrative burden of government programs and regulations, lowering WorkSafeBC premiums, and many others.
The Langley Chamber, through our members, is the voice of Langley business. Members can raise concerns regarding any issue at any level of government for attention and support through the Langley Chamber and our advocacy efforts locally, provincially and nationally. Have an issue impacting your business, sector or neighbourhood? Let us know!
