Langley Chamber Hosts 150 for Senior Government Representatives Dinner
The Langley Chamber recently hosted it Senior Government Representatives Dinner, bringing together 150 business, community, and government leaders for an evening of dialogue and connection.
The event provided an opportunity for the local business community to engage directly with our local elected officials from both the provincial and federal levels. Through a series of moderated discussions led by Chamber CEO Cory Redekop, attendees heard firsthand from Langley MLAs and MPs on the key issues shaping the current economic and policy landscape.
The panel discussions covered a wide range of topics impacting businesses and communities, including taxation, government spending and deficits, public safety and crime, health care investments, and broader economic conditions. The conversation highlighted both the challenges facing governments and the importance of ensuring that business perspectives remain part of the discussion. Attendees included all Langley MLAs and MPs, representatives from Langley Township and City of Langley councils, and visiting MLAs from as far away as Kamloops.
Events like the Senior Government Representatives Dinner play a critical role in strengthening relationships between the business community and decision-makers. By creating space for open dialogue, the Langley Chamber continues to advocate for policies that support economic growth, competitiveness, and a strong local business environment.
The Chamber thanks all elected officials, attendees, and partners who contributed to the success of this event and to the ongoing conversation around building a stronger Langley and regional economy.
