Langley Chamber Launching Steering Committee for New Non-Profit Network

The Langley Chamber is moving forward with plans to create a new Langley Non-Profit Network, and is launching a Steering Committee to help guide its development.

The Steering Committee will be made up of volunteer representatives from the non-profit sector and will play a key role in shaping the direction of the Network, including programming, content, and overall approach. Initial discussions will focus on establishing terms of reference, meeting format and frequency, and identifying priority areas for the group.

With more than 90 non-profit organizations in its membership, the Langley Chamber continues to look for more ways to connect, support, and create value for this important sector. The proposed Network is modelled in part on the success of the Chamber's other sub-networks, including the Langley Women's Business Network, Langley Next Gen Business Network, and Langley Asia Pacific Business Network, and is intended to provide a dedicated space for collaboration, learning, and advocacy.

Non-profit members who are interested in getting involved in the Steering Committee or learning more about the Network are encouraged to contact the Chamber.
