Langley Chamber Meets with Pudong SASAC Delegation
The Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce welcomed a delegation from the Pudong State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, known as Pudong SASAC, as part of an official visit to British Columbia.
Pudong SASAC is a Chinese government authority responsible for overseeing state-owned enterprises, capital, and strategic industrial investments within Shanghai’s Pudong New Area, one of China’s major centres of economic growth and development.
During the meeting, members of the Langley Chamber's Asia Pacific Business Network provided an overview of Langley's economy, business community, and regional strengths. The discussion focused on opportunities for international trade, investment, supply chain collaboration, and future economic partnerships between the Pudong region and the Greater Langley business community.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to answer questions, share local business insights, and begin building relationships that could support future collaboration.
This meeting reflects the Chamber’s ongoing work to support Langley’s diverse business community, strengthen international relationships, and help create new opportunities for business connection, trade, and investment.
The Langley Chamber was pleased to welcome the delegation and looks forward to continuing conversations that may support future business and economic opportunities between Langley and the Pudong region.
