First, let me thank all of you reading this for your ongoing support of the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce.  Chambers only exist because of our members, and I’m thrilled to be joining an organization serving such a diverse and growing business community.

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to all of you as the new CEO of your chamber of commerce. 

I’ve worked for 12 years with businesses of all sizes and sectors in my previous roles in the chamber network, and I am looking forward now to supporting and championing the business community right here in my own home, Langley.

The health of our community and the health of our business sector are intrinsically linked – I don’t believe either can be successful on its own.  The Chamber has a unique ability to support this type of broad-based economic development as we’re the one place that connects all business and community leaders, advocates for what’s needed for growth and opportunity, and promotes Langley and the great work of our members.  That’s why our network is so important and why I’ll be focused on ensuring we live up to that mandate.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll be hearing from me asking for your input and sharing ideas on what we’re doing as an organization.  But at any time, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at cory@langleychamber.com with your thoughts for the chamber, with any concerns or troubles facing your business, or if you just want to chat.

Remember – we’re here to be your ally, and I promise each of our members that you’ll always have someone in your corner here at the Chamber.
