Open House and Public Hearing for Proposed Neighbourhood Plans for Booth, Fernridge, and Rinn Areas
Open House and Public Hearing for Proposed Neighbourhood Plans for Booth, Fernridge, and Rinn Areas
Langley Township is finalizing the Neighbourhood Plans for the Booth, Fernridge and Rinn areas. These Neighbourhood Plans will guide development and growth in these areas over the coming years, and envisions greater residential density -- largely through smaller single family lots and increased townhome and rowhome development -- as well as the creation of small, commercial nodes to create opportunities for goods and services businesses to operate in the neighbourhoods.
A final open house is being held to gather feedback from the community the proposed plans in advance of the official public hearing. Following this, the public hearing will be held with Mayor and Council to provide final community input on the proposed plans before adoption.
