Surrey-Langley SkyTrain Project - Public Engagement

Surrey-Langley SkyTrain Project - Public Engagement

The Surrey Langley SkyTrain project will extend the Expo Line along Fraser Highway from King George SkyTrain Station in Surrey to Langley City.  It will include eight stations, including 2 in Langley at 196 street and 203 street.

The province is currently conducting public engagement on the project and getting feedback on the services and amenities at the stations, nearby housing options, and the environmental impacts of the project.  Langley businesses are encouraged to participate in the consultation to help shape the how the final project is implemented.

The project will improve regional connections and provide fast, frequent, and reliable transit service for people and businesses in Langley, taking 22 minutes to get from Langley City to King George and one hour to get right down to Waterfront Station.

The Langley Chamber will be engaging directly with the province on this project to voice our support for transit and transportation investments, and ensuring the project best serves the needs of our community
