The Township of Langley has released its 2026 draft budget which proposes a 3.98% property tax increase for core municipal services. For a representative home valued at $1,511,423, this equals about $108.22 per year.

Significant changes or additions in this budget include a number of additional police and fire resources, operations of the new Langley Event Centre expansion, and the continuation of several capital projects already approved by Council.  

As property taxes disproportionately impact businesses and industrial taxpayers, the Langley Chamber always reviews our municipal budgets, and welcomes input or feedback from our membership.
