Translink's New Langley BRT Line Looking for Input on Station Design

TransLink is launching public engagement and announcing station locations for two future Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) routes, including one in Langley which will run from Willowbrook Shopping Centre/future SkyTrain up 200th street, north to connect to Maple Ridge. BRT will provide fast, frequent, and reliable service through dedicated bus lanes, signal priority at intersections, and weather-protected stations.
The Langley–Haney Place BRT would provide rapid transit access to approximately 72,000 residents and 55,000 jobs that are within walking distance of the planned station locations, and the line will be a catalyst for significant redevelopment and growth along the 200th Street corridor.
Translink has released the location of the 13 stations -- including the 8 in Langley -- and is asking chamber members and the public to rank which station features will be most important to include.
