Upskilling and Training Support - $3500 Future Skills Grant Program Expanded for this Fall

The StrongerBC Future Skills Grant Program has been expanded for this Fall and provides up to $3500 in financial support to fund short-term skills training at public post-secondary institutions, empowering individuals to pursue new opportunities in various industries.

This is a valuable opportunity for both business owners to upskill themselves on things like marketing, project management or bookkeeping, but also an important program for your employees to utilize themselves to get free skills development that can help them take on new and enhanced roles in your business.

The Grant Details

The StrongerBC Future Skills Grant Program is open to all BC adults, without any financial need requirement. This means that regardless of your financial status, you can apply for the grant to access up to $3,500 in funding for eligible short-term skills training.

People can choose from a list of over 300 programs and start training in September 2024. Programs cover a wide array of skills, from Electric Vehicle Maintenance and Service to Bookkeeping to Project Management to Non Profit Management and many others.  Some registration for the fall 2024 semester has opened.
