SUMMARY:WEBINAR International Women's Day - Equality is not a choice
DESCRIPTION:You must register to receive the Zoom link.\n\n\n\nIn her presentation title "Equality is not a choice" Camille explores her life as a wife\, mother and advocate and how she has promoted the view that equality is a basic human right and not a gift offered to women and minorities. \n\n \n\nThe presentation zeroes in on Workplace Bullying and Harassment and Camille's own experiences leading to the launch of her advocacy for an end to the deadly behaviors which leave bullying and harassment untouched in the workplace.\n\nABOUT OUR SPEAKER\n\n \n\nCamille's mission is to make workplaces safe\, respectful\, and dignifying. As a target of Workplace Bullying and Harassment\, Camille's own experience created an avalanche of mental and physical health issues and chaos in her marriage and relationship with her 3 beautiful children. The struggle to find a way out brought her to this mission to end Workplace Bullying and Harassment. \n\n \n\nMarried to a lawyer/politician\, social justice is not new to Camille. She ran a successful campaign to bring an end to Trinidad and Tobago's archaic child marriage laws. She is an advocate on several child rights and gender issues including: ending the practice of gender selection and the preference for male first-borns\; highlighting the illegality of child brides\; and filling skills gaps among minorities\, especially women.
