Mission Statement The Kidney Foundation of Canada is a national volunteer organization committed to reducing the burden of kidney disease through: ? Research Funding ? Increasing public awareness and commitment to advancing kidney health and organ donation Event Kidney Walk Date September 27th Sunday Time 8am ? 2pm Location Bear Creek Park in Fraser Valley Looking for volunteers! Number of Volunteers Required 25 Skills & Experience ? A passion to increase awareness of kidney diseases, kidney transplantation and organ donation among the public. ? Enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated Deliverables / Duties Positions: ? Accounting ? Registration ? Material pickups and delivery ? Route Marshalls ? Set up volunteers ? Kidney Walk balloon arch assembler ? Volunteer sign in tent volunteer ? First Aid ? Food and beverage volunteers ? ?Ask Me? volunteers ? T-shirt hand-out volunteers ? Volunteer photographers ? Take-down volunteers Benefits & Recognition ? Opportunity to have fun and participate in a local Kidney Walk while representing The Kidney Foundation of Canada, BC & Yukon Branch. ? Certificate of Recognition is awarded. ? Reference Letters available upon request.
