As artificial intelligence continues to be widely adopted in business workflows, Canadian organizations are facing many opportunities and challenges in adopting generative AI. Our facilitator from the Canadian AI Advancement Institute (CAIAI) is joining us to simplify things and guide you toward AI adoption!
As part of the Langley Chamber's AI programming for this year, this hands-on training session will provide a practical introduction to AI for business leaders, professionals, and teams who want to learn how to implement AI ethically, safely and effectively.
Participants will gain hands-on insights into AI tools, explore ethical and security considerations, and walk away with clear strategies for using AI to save time, reduce errors, and improve performance.
- The Importance of AI Adoption: Understand global trends, workforce impacts, and how Canadian industries are changing from the implementation of generative AI.
- AI Tools for Business: Explore text, image, video, audio, meeting, and automation tools, plus, practical examples of where they save time and drive productivity.
- Ethics & Security in AI: Learn the four pillars of ethical AI (fairness, transparency, accountability, and outcomes), human-centred AI, and key security considerations like data protection, privacy, and governance.
- Prompt Engineering Essentials: Discover the CIC method (Context, Information, Constraints) for crafting effective prompts and see examples tailored for sales, marketing, and operations.
- AI Implementation Strategies: Explore the ETPIA framework for phased adoption, how to align tools with organizational goals, and best practices for using multiple AI tools in workflows.
- Legal & Compliance Considerations: Review copyright, trademark, and disclosure requirements when using AI in professional settings.
