April 2022 Dinner Meeting
Dave Earle will discuss current challenges (and opportunities) in the trucking / logistics industry. From the perennial labour shortage to the impact of floods and COVID, to the opportunities presented by de-carbonization and new technology, Dave will provide insight into how these trends affect local businesses in Langley. Join us and learn:

Dave Earle is the President and CEO of the BC Trucking Association, a member-based, province-wide, non-partisan, non-profit motor carrier association created to ensure a safe, efficient and responsible commercial road transportation industry.
His national board appointments include the Executive Board of Canadian Trucking Alliance and Policy Development Committee, roles where he works to advance progressive safety standards in the commercial transportation industry federally. He is also the Secretary - Treasurer of the Canadian Hoisting and Rigging Safety Council, formed to act as a focal point to create dialogue on harmonization to improve hoisting and rigging safety standards across Canada.
Dave’s provincial roles include Past President of the Employer’s Forum and Chair of the Policy Committee, representing the business community’s interests to advance occupational health and safety standards. He is also the Vice-Chair of SkillPlan, a nationally recognized leader in workforce development and governed jointly by building trade unions and business.
