How to do Business With the Federal Government
Are you interested in learning the fundamentals of doing business with the Government of Canada? This seminar, the first in a series of three, provides information on the government’s procurement process, including: how to register to sell to the government, how to keep track of opportunities, how to market to the federal government, and how to bid on opportunities. New, for this session only, you will also learn the process and requirements for obtaining organizational and personnel clearances, which will allow you access to relevant Government of Canada protected or classified information and assets.
Learning Objectives:
• Learn how the federal government does their purchasing.
• Understand the role of the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises.
• Get all the essentials to get started in the contracting process.
• Understand the process for gaining organizational and personnel clearances
• Clarification of the types of clearance levels relevant for completing a government contract
