Legal Tips for Your Online Business

This workshop covers legal principles and concerns applicable to internet-based businesses. Topics will be adjusted based on the interests of the audience and may include: creation of contracts online; consumer protection legislation; privacy obligations with respect to information provided by users; potential liability for acts of users; intellectual property issues; and, jurisdiction and the internet. This seminar is hosted at Small Business BC in Vancouver and delivered to other locations via live video conference.
