Non-Profit Series: Wellbeing in the Non-Profit Workplace
The non-profit sector is an important part of the Langley business community and the Langley Chamber invites non-profit professionals to this session as part of new programming dedicated for our non-profit members.
The non-profit sector has unique challenges -- like the pressure to raise funds and the emotional demands of representing a cause -- which can impact wellbeing and burnout for those in the non-profit world.
Led by facilitator Laurie Shopland—who has extensive experience in the non-profit sector and has raised over $40 million—this session will explore the foundations of emotional well-being and its vital role in non-profit organizations. Laurie integrates these core principles into her coaching practice, equipping clients with the tools to thrive.
Through this engaging workshop, participants will learn a simple, actionable three-step framework to help navigate the emotions and impacts of working in the non-profit sector, and how to develop resilience that will serve both you and your cause in the future .
