Housing affordability? Transportation? Social Isolation? What social issues should the Township prioritize over the next 10 years? Please join Township of Langley staff for a round table discussion on May 8 from 3:30 – 5:00pm at the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce to have your say.
This round table will help shape the Township’s new Social Sustainability Strategy, which, once complete, will provide the groundwork for action on social issues. Since work on the Strategy began in early 2018, we’ve identified seven potential issues to focus on: Reconciliation and First Nations engagement; Housing; Community connectedness and engagement; Lifelong learning; Physical and mental health; Food; and Mobility.
We need to hear from local businesses if we are on the right track, and need your ideas on how to address these issues. Please join us for this discussion.
