Three women with a passion for painting and community inclusiveness will be displaying their paintings at The Water Shed Café in Walnut Grove during the month of April. The threesome met at You’ve Gotta Have Friends, a not for profit community initiative aimed at involving all citizens in creating a welcoming community where everyone belongs.
You’ve Gotta Have Friends and The Water Shed Café values are uniquely aligned in philosophy and vision. Owner Jenn Cornish describes “The Water Shed Arts Café as a place were all streams of life (every ethnicity, age, gender, faith or social status) converge and in our differences mingle, learn, grow and celebrate one another, and through this convergence of lives, benefit the local community of Langley and the world at large.”
Samantha Hanssens, Nadja Mak and Pat Weibelzahl (Coordinator at YGHF) invite the public to the opening celebration!!
