WaterWeeks Event!
Wetlands are highly productive ecosystems. They support a vast diversity of species and play a significant role in maintaining biodiversity. Wetlands comprise only 5.6% of the land base of BC and are disappearing quickly due to development. In this hands-on, day long program, you will learn about wetland processes, and embark on the physical work required to restore wetland habitat. Bring work gloves and gumboots. Lunch will be provided.
Hosted in partnership with the BC Wildlife Federation Wetland Education Program.
