Meet the founder and lead brand designer, Ami Demelo
Ami Demelo brings a unique, grounded perspective to strategic branding. While she has always worked in creative fields, Ami’s approach is defined by her deep entrepreneurial roots (including previously owning a brick-and-mortar store). This history provides a non-traditional advantage: she knows exactly what it means to bootstrap a company, the challenges of the startup phase, and the essential moment when a founder is ready to invest in their next phase of growth.

The Mosaic Method is the systematic framework Demelo Studio developed after years of strategic client partnerships. The name is inspired by the intentional craftsmanship of Portuguese Azulejo tiles—the basis of Demelo Studio’s own branding and tied deeply to Ami’s personal heritage. Just as every tile in a mosaic is placed with intent, her method ensures that the brand identity is not just visually appealing, but thoughtfully engineered for purpose, scalability, and predictable growth.
