I am a freelance writer and blogger. I retired as editor of The Langley Times in June, 2015 after 17 years, have worked as a freelance writer, and worked for The Surrey Leader from 1979 to 1993 as a reporter and editor. My work received several awards, and I was runner-up for the editor of the year in a contest sponsored by Local Media Association, a North America-wide newspaper association.
