About Us

At Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), we help our students get the expert knowledge they need to become leaders in their field by providing a unique education tailored to their specific goals.

There are seven distinct faculties at KPU—academic and career advancement, arts, business, design, health, science and horticulture, and trades and technology—offering degrees, diplomas, certificates, citations, and in-school apprenticeship training. We work closely with industry experts in the community and professional organizations to develop new programs and course offerings, ensuring our students are well prepared to enter the workforce.

As the only polytechnic university in Canada, we offer a unique educational experience, combining traditional academics with hands-on experiential learning opportunities. We hire expert faculty with an abundance of experience in their field and a passion for teaching. As a KPU student, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in work experience placements, co-op terms, internships, and study abroad opportunities, allowing you to experience your field of study first-hand.
