About our speakers:
Justin Hui, B.Comm, CPA, CGA, CIM®
Vice-President, Investment Advisor, Portfolio Manager
Justin specializes in strategic portfolio management, tax-efficient cash flow generation and estate tax minimization planning. He focuses first on truly understanding clients’ financial objectives and then subsequently matching it with optimal investment solutions within an open architecture framework. All of this is executed together with an overlay of tactical asset allocation, technical analysis, and risk management techniques.
Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business. He is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA), the Certified General Accountants of BC & Canada (CGA) and holds the advanced Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation.
In 2001-2002, Justin was featured on the cover of the CGA-BC Program Calendar. From 2004-2006, he was profiled in CGA’s television commercial campaign (Global TV). In 2012, he was co-featured in CGA Outlook magazine’s Money Talks article.
Tamara Bonn, BBA, CIM®
Associate Investment Advisor
Tamara has nearly 10 years of investment industry experience, with a previous role at one of the world’s largest independent asset managers. Her combined experience allows her to deliver comprehensive client solutions that focus on asset allocation, cash flow planning, tax-efficiency, risk-adjusted returns and macro-economic analysis that are relevant to daily portfolio decision making. As with any profession, Tamara believes that it takes experience and technical ability to deliver industry “best practices,” which is the value-add she promises to deliver.
As a Vancouver native, Tamara holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Economics from Simon Fraser University. She also holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation. To comprehend the dynamics of today’s complex markets, Tamara upholds the importance of continuing education and is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, as a level three candidate.
